Pastor's Bio

Pastor John Wilson III

August 5th, 2007, while attending the North Little Rock Campmeeting, John R. Wilson III was baptized in Jesus name and received the Holy Ghost, evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave the utterance. He became a faithful member of the First Pentecostal Church of Red Bud, IL, previously named The Promise of Living Waters Apostolic Church. Excited about his conversion, he immediately started witnessing to everyone he could, started teaching Bible Studies, and became engaged in doctrinal discussions. Not long later his pulpit ministry began and he became frequently used in the local assembly.

As a lay minister, he would periodically preach at other churches. It was during this time he found his wife, Sister Audrey Wilson, fell in love, and married his soulmate and companion in the Gospel. He and Sister Audrey Wilson would become Sunday School teachers, alongside his pulpit ministry, for ages 2-6. They faithfully taught Sunday School until the LORD called them to pastor their first church in the state of Kentucky. The church experienced revival with people coming out of the greatest clutches of sin and being born again. After an extent of time the LORD called them back to help their original home church until being called to evangelize full-time.

After two and a half years of full-time evangelizing the LORD called them to pastor Truth Tabernacle of Granite City, formerly Briarcliff Pentecostal Church. Pastor and Sister Audrey Wilson have been blessed with five beautiful children, Charity, Levi, Camden, Nolan, and Jackson. It would be a great blessing to Pastor Wilson to personally meet YOU.
